Sorority Girl Accidentally Makes Eye Contact, Smiles at Non-Greek Male
Momentarily forgetting the intense conditioning she endures on an almost daily basis from her sorority sisters, Sophomore Amanda Watkins accidentally smiled at Alex Mezanis, a Tech male who does not even belong to a fraternity.
“I’m really sorry about this whole thing,” pleaded Watkins to her sorority sisters. “I swear it’ll never happen again.”
As a result of the incident, Watkins has been placed on probation within her sorority and might not be allowed to hook up with random fraternity guys for up to a month.
Well – I thought it was funny

So … in my mind, the GT football team now has the level of expectation as we’ve all had coming into this semester.
Come on… what da heck was that out there today? You know, if everyone has the mindset that every team we play from here on out is like Auburn or FSU, Georgia Tech will be able to defeat every team in the ACC. If, for instance, our football team gets a big head and arrogant with football games, we will lose every single game from here on out – even to Vandy and Duke.
Some time between Half-time of the FSU game to Tonight… our Georgia Tech football team lost that magic that they’ve had since the end of the BYU game to the end of the first half of the FSU game. Whatever that was… I’d like that back or this season will be very very boring and disappointing.

yea… so, I’m really thinking about dropping Combinatorics… would be my first ‘W’ for a class at Tech but I’m afraid if I keep this class then I’ll see my first ‘F’ in one of the classes I am taking.
So my MATH3770 professor got back to me… I asked him if I could take his test a day early since I have 3 tests scheduled on Friday and he said (and I quote): “No.” – That was his email. How nice of him to have responded back to me.
So we lost to TKE Co-Rec team today – wasn’t as a tough loss as it was with the SigEp team but I don’t know why the game seemed so quick. I have to say this… I liked the attitude of the SigEp team better then the TKE team – TKE had this attitude of “Let’s get this game over with…” although SigEg team seemed to wanted to be there to have some fun. Most of the SigEp gals were almost always smiling while the TKE girls were definitely tougher It was good times though so no matter. Chaos team is 0-2 =P It’ll be… heh, Crack vs. Chaos next week!
Yea so.. I’m going to go find sleep. Good night.

im going to be sooo glad once this week is over…
I’ve got so many non-school things to do but I always have a huge buffer to stick all my school work into – from Sunday night to Friday afternoon, it’s always school school school school school. This week is particularly worse because on top of the school work, I’ve got three different coming up in the same day: Friday.
I’ve asked my ECE2040 professor if I could take his test a day early but I got a simple one sentence response asking me to take the test as scheduled on Friday. I emailed another professor to see if I can take the MATH3770 test early but he hasn’t responded yet – I doubt he even checks his email.
Fortunately enough, I’m starting to like ECE2031 – Digital Design Lab… it’s a class based around lab but it is nothing like DSP. I heard the worst part of this class is the last project but it’s making a small bot on wheels… which would basically be the coolest project that would be assigned to me since I’ve got to Tech. Screw matlab projects or stupid minesweeper java GUIs – I’d like something physical and something you can build with your hands. (Wait for the right time and I might have negative feelings about this project once the time comes hehe).
The worst class I am taking is MATH3012 – Combinatorics… after 4 semesters of derivatives, integrals, linear algebra, differentials, etc – we get to the cominbatorics… they should really label this class as MATH1000. I am not exactly sure why I am taking this class… it is a COMBINATION of the dumbest and boring aspects of mathematics as I know it. It’s like me being a Computer Engineering major being required to take Chemistry I… why? *shrug* There was my little rant on the time I’ve wasted on non-Cmpe related courses…
Another rant.. GT vs. FSU – most heartbreaking game I’ve ever seen on TV. I had goosebumps during the third quarter of the game when we had a touchdown to make the score 13-0 GT. Our offensive line got crumbled by their defense so Ball didn’t have many chances are making great plays. We were so close… with plenty of time, all we had to do was get in field goal range and let Burnette kick one into the uprights… I like Reggie as our quarterback but he will need to work on not throwing it about 5 yards above the intended receiver. If not for that last interception – we would have upset the #1 ACC team and #10 Nationally ranked NCAA football team. A great try for the Yellow Jackets – we’re just going to have to kick Clemson’s tiger butt this coming Saturday Oooh, ACC better be scared… no one expected this from Tech and now everyone is shocked at how well our team is playing.
Okay okay – no more rants… time for some sleep.
