Moment of truth.

So, it’s exam time. Starting at 8am til 3pm, back to back exams.

Am I prepared?

Maybe… but this all depends on the kind of exam I get

I am looking forward to tomorrow although I will be completely depressed when the final grades are out… I’ll be really scared to check the grades.

I always end up saying, it’ll be different next semester… it has come true, but it’s a bad different type of change. How about I go for a positive change? Work harder and screw everything else until I can get things going positively.

Embarrassing

I just calculated my predicted GPA for this semester. =X Holy crap, I’m not going to tell anyone my GPA. How embarrassing!

How’d I get myself in this position?
Someone smack some sense into me before next semester.

welp… I guess next semester will be the deciding semester.

Some updates while I am bored…

Stress wee- I mean, “Dead” week sped by so fast. I don’t exactly remember what I did during that time. With Finals week only a single-step away, I am not stressed nor am I anxious. This semester… I am going to call it my “Trials & Tribulations” semester. I will recognize it as my worst semester at Tech; otherwise, academic doom is inevitable. I have learned a lot about myself- these things mainly being mistakes and flaws in my character which I will resolutely try to fix with the new year coming around the block.

Christmas is coming; yay- this means two things for me: time to celebrate the birth of Christ (duh! :) ) and also add another year to my age. Yes, ladies and gentlemen… I am turning 21. I am particularly looking forward to this day… I do not know why exactly… probably because my birthday represents the winter break I will have away from Tech while I reorganize my priorities which have been mangled up so bad this semester. No no, you got me wrong – turning 21 may be important for some of you but I shall try to enjoy my 21st year. I was actually wondering if I could go my 21st year without a single drink. I think I could do this but then again, what would this accomplish?

I am typing this up at the library right now- I should be working on my final report for DDL but I thought I’d cut myself some slack and give an update on my bloggin’. Ugh, I had this whole 3 week vacation plan + work plan that I was excited about for the summer but I was told if I wanted to school during the summer semester, I would not have 3 consecutive weeks to vacation. Anyways, just for the sake of recording my original plan: it was going to be a square trip around the United States. First, fly from home to LAX so I can visit my long-time-no-see Freshmen friend in Cerritos, CA: Tony! Spend about a week or so with him and see the sights of the West Coast and the infamous state of California. Then, fly north to Portland, OR to visit another great friend: Jordan. Spend about a week or so with him and see if we can find his ;) Then take a trip back East to Scranton, PA- where I have held a remote position since last Spring so I can finally meet those that are involved in the company I work for… spend about another week there and familiarize myself with the company and my colleagues.

Not exactly sure what I can do about it now since I just found out that we only have like a week from the last week of Spring semester until the Summer semester and also a two week break from the last week of Summer semester until the Fall semester. BLAH!!!! I was getting all excited and looking forward to summer but…. ugh, we’ll see.

Worries? Well, spring semester is coming and tuition paying time is upon me. I don’t think I made enough since the last time I paid tuition to cover the cost of spring semester. This means that I might have to ask my parents to loan me some money which I don’t want to do… *sigh* I’ve asked my superior at work if I can find another job since I’m only part-timing anyways since my request for more working hours have not yet changed anything; he said he’ll talk to the person who takes care of employee payroll to see if there are any additional hours that I can take. And I hope FinAid won’t throw me any surprises by screwing my fees and loans. I hate this out of state tuition thing… I am deperately hoping that my application for Georgia residency is approved when I submit that next semester. That’ll be so awesome.

College Sports-wise… Tech beat Tennessee State 94-43. That’s a 51 point margin of victory. We are 7-0 now and going strong. Ranked Top 15 by ESPN and I’m sure our ranking will increase as the season goes along. I can’t wait until we play Duke, UNC, Clemson, FSU, and Georgia. Revenge will be upon them all when the times comes :)

UGA lost to LSU in the SEC Championship here in Atlanta today. The final score was 34-13. LSU just slammed the dawgs all over the Georgia Dome. I watched a quarter or so of it… and it was great :) UGA can talk smack all they want… arrogance is a flaw in itself!

That’s about it… I’m going to try to write some of this report before I go back.

Sleep well to those of you who has the time… good luck to all those Techies this coming week.
