volunteering…
October 9th, 2003 | by john |so I’ve decided to volunteer my leet coding skills (heh =P) so I can help Troy with his latest personal project (web site) with some other people. Although I won’t be responsible for the frontend of the project nor the content – I’ll be handling all the behind the scenes stuff like database implementation and administrative tools that’ll make keeping the site up to date fairly easy. I won’t mention the site name until it is launched… Troy is really stressing that the launch date needs to be Nov. 1 (I think he just picked it… and is planning to stick with it as a goal.) I think with some dedication, the site will have a lot of potential… I will probably working on some of it when I go back home for fall break – I’ll be able to code on my laptop and test/debug no problem on it. Heh, I sure hope I don’t let the team down – eek.
Oh well – I’m still working on the DML web site… it’s coming along okay – not the kind of designs I usually do but I guess that’s a good thing. The design I am supposed to model is …. way to simple but it is one of those designs that have aesthetics but works as it keeps the site really simple. This design – I’m trying to keep really simple but it’s taking me so long hehe. Maybe I should reorganize Truepixel Development and deploy it. I have so many great design ideas… but not enough time to implement them :-/ sucks.
School work has flooded out of my week now… for the most part, anyways. I still have a lot of stuff on my mind. I have a little bit more motivation (thanks for the prayers, to those who do
)
Have a good Fall break everyone!
