Humanity is too cruel…

“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Oh yea…

GO JACKETS!

Catch up time!

Spring Break was good – no real vacation for me, having time to take a breather is vacation enough for me.

I wish I could go into more detail but I got a bit too much work to do now that our real break for the Spring semester is over.

I need to talk with more Tech alumni’s – the one I accidentally met during Winter Break was such a relief to talk to because she understood what Tech was and is.

Anyway, don’t expect much on here for a while.

Spring Break and Dook.

It’s finally close to break time. Not doing any road tripping anywhere really but back home on Saturday. You know, Spring break couldn’t have come at a better time… even though I’m going to have a lot of school work to do during the break, I’m still going to have time to relax and have some freedom next week.

Last night, Georgia Tech defeated the no. 3 ranked Duke… the invincible -we have (had now) :D a 41 game winning streak at home- Duke… lost at their own game. This is significant because of two things 1) Duke has a very strong basketball team and had one for a very long time. 2) Too much money spent on their basketball program… 3) I was raised in North Carolina and both of my sisters have been at UNC- so the implication for such a statement: “I was raised a UNC fan…” 4) Duke beat us at football when it was clear GT had a better team – we helped them break their losing streak in the ACC. 5) number 4 required: Revenge!

It was great to see GT basketball in full swing again. I’m excited about March madness. It’s going to be a great NCAA tourney, especially since GT will be in it (I think)… no matter how far they get within the tourney.

Anyways, there’s my little rant about college basketball although I still think there’s much more excitement in football in light of GT’s mediocre season and Carolina Panther’s trip to the Super Bowl.
