Let’s Play Catch-Up…

Due to the lack of time and also lack of productivity when I did have time: I had no time to update.

Anyways…

School – Spring 2004
My best semester so far at Tech but hoping that I can do even better now knowing that I can actually do well (relatively). I’ve made the Dean’s List which, surprisingly enough, isn’t a very easy thing to do. (Don’t ask me why?! I wish I knew why!) I went into this semester worrying about one particular class and in the end, had to worry about two of my other classes. I can say most of the class grades turned out better then I expected. I loved the fact that my finals week wasn’t as bad as the finals weeks I’ve experienced previously; however, I know it won’t be like that all the time so I need to savor the flavor of a good finals week before I experience another bad one.

Family
The biggest news is… my second sister graduated from Pharmacy school and she’s officially another Dr. Hwang in the family. We took plenty of pictures at the UNC PharmD graduation but I’ll post the pictures later since it’s 5am and I need to get some rest. But imagine that – I’m the only one still in college and it’s going to take me about 2 more years to get my undergrad degree at Tech (I hope). So a big Congratulations to Ange and a good luck on her license exams in June!

My eldest sister and my mom went to Korea for 2 week period starting last Wednesday. I think the first week is to take care of all the business that they needed to go to Korea to do done then the second week would be just enjoying being back in the real homelands. Last time we were there was the year I was entering Freshmen year of high school… so it’s been a while since they’ve been back there.

My dad’s business went through some renovations and additions… had to help finish the renovations and stuff so that’s what I’ve been working on for this past week. Almost spent at least 6 hours on average per day working at the store. I’m glad everything is done and over with cause I was beginning to get tired of it :D

My Plans
I’ll be taking a 2 week pseudo-vacation to Los Angelos, Las Vegas, and Portland to see some buddies I haven’t seen in a while. I’m leaving on the 6th of June and coming back around the 19th. I’m heading over there with Hudson but we’ll be taking different flights since he has his “Delta-Fly-Anywhere-For-Free-If-There-Are-Seats-Available” pass  Buying tickets sucked (a pretty big blow to my bank account!) but whatever – I can’t wait. I haven’t had a vacation like this since… Miami last spring?

After the vacation – I’ll be back working the servers so I can get enough money to pay my tuition for Fall. I love the fact that my net spending money after working 30 hours a week – full-time school tuition – food money = close to $0.00. It’s like I’m working just so I can come out at null. :-/ Oh well, if that’s what life’s gotta be like…

Hope you guys are doing well!

Boom.

All I gotta say is…

that I’ve been busy as crap and I hope everything settles down soon.

This whole Operation Iraqi Freedom thing since 2003… has been a very big pain in the political-butt.

Mind you, I careless about politics. I DO care about current events. These two events are sort of oxymorons because a lot of times current events are nothing but politics. They usually simply entertain me.

Since the whole 9/11 thing, I was mad. At who? I have no idea. A lot of finger pointing happened but no physical evidence came out to prove the finger pointing. Some people came out and admitted terrorist acts but they never showed any hard and unquestionable proof of such either. It’s a whole-lot of he said, she said, I said, they said…

I hate being kept in the dark of things. If worse comes to worst, I’ll simply accept it and move on. Governments are so afraid of terror-driven panic. I believe panic is caused by people who like to overexaggerate their actions.
