Settled in, Again.
August 18th, 2004 | by john |So my plan of getting back to Tech on Friday failed without a doubt. I put about 60% of my stuff in the car and realized the rest of the 40% won’t all fit. So it was decided that I should leave on Saturday and taken down two cars with Simon. We drove down and moved in the big stuff with a dolley and shopping cart that Troy had, which only required two trips. Simon left shortly afterward because he’s already wasted all mornining driving down to Atlanta to help me and he could get back to Charlotte before the evening. Thanks to him I got all my stuff down here… else, I probably would’ve had to go back home this weekend or something to pick up the rest of my stuff.
Anyway, classes are going well so far… still haven’t been to two classes. One, because the professor wasn’t there on Monday. Two, because one of my classes is strictly lab and we don’t have labs first week of school except a lecture on Friday afternoon.
Surprisingly, some of my friends have changed a little since I last remember them from previous semesters. More distant, shall I say? It’s a different take too because I think I’m also a bit distant from them.
Well, I’m excited about what this new year will bring along. I’m not looking for anything specific but I hope it’ll be good times plus the good grades.
