Eleventh minute.
April 9th, 2006 | by john |First, I just want to type that this post is not a joke or fiction and am attempting to account for this honestly as possible. If you experience this kind of event frequently, please do post a comment since it’ll be interesting to how many notice this.
This is the weirdest of all coincidences but whenever I look at a digital representation of time (cell phone clock, computer clock, digital alarm clock, television clock, and etc) to see what time it is, it is always the eleventh minute of the hour. The scary thing is that 80% of the time (approximation), it is always the eleventh minute of the ninth hour, making it 9:11 AM or PM. It doesn’t happen every morning or every night on a consecutive basis. It happens in a way that at the time I think “weird” and it’s put away in my mind. Then at some point later, it happens again and you are reminded of the last time it happened. This has been happening since last semester down at Tech.
It is one of the weirdest feelings in the world that curiosity picques your interest and you want to know what time it is to find that it is exactly 9:11 in the morning or 9:11 at night.

Same here … I thought I was just hyper-sensitive to noticing the 11th minute more than any other time but its true that more than 70% of the time … when I honestly just want to know the time, its the 11th minute. Also all my ccard expirations are the 11th month including my drvr lic. This is nuts!

Oh boy, this is fucking with my head bad!!! I have been “seeing 11′s” for about 15 years, so I’ve had alot of time to trip out on this SECRET of mine. I wake up at 8:11(never owned a alarm clock) 3 days a week, but that is when I wanted to see the time when i woke up.Not to mention when i get up and just go do something for a min. or 2, AND THEN it is 8:11 am. IT also happen at all hours of the day,at least 3 times each day. I have told people about it recently and they kind of said like, oh good! But NOW when it happens I ALWAYS try to get a witness, buy asking them,” WHAT TIME IS IT?” and THEN, THEY! have to say to me 2:11pm or 1:11 am. So NOW they are just starting to witness that I’m not just watching the time ALL day,just to have them say a time of ?:11!!!!!lol. I’ve been getting better over the years.Last night I was with some friends,watching a movie, when I had this feeling and i just yelled out (not loud)What time is it and 4 people there ,I told about this and they immediatly looked and it WAS……11:11pm. Same thing here for about last 15 years. Sometimes even if I ask others for the time. This weird coincidence has stopped happening for about a year. However, This week I woke up at 4:11; 6:11; and 9:11 also been catching more 11th minute times throughout the day over the last couple weeks. I was just curious about this, good to know others find this happening too.

Hi. the same thing happening to me for the last five years or so. its crazy and its realy getting me crazy. i did some looking in to the meaning of the no 11 in all kind of cultures and it is a very strong no. i think its very individual what it means for each one that gets to see it so often but whan i looked it up it did got me to see my life in ways i never saw befor.
i allso see 9:11 or 11:11 more than any other hour.
im glad to know im not alone. if somone know anything about the no. 11 or want to read about my finding i will love to share.
