Michael Phelps, why not more?
Monday, August 18th, 2008It is absolutely amazing what Michael Phelps has done in Beijing over the past week. It’s a feat for someone to win a single gold medal at the Olympics; for one person to win eight is more… superhuman. You don’t need an infrequent blogger like me to understate such an enormous feat but for the sake of “what now?” and just simply out of curiosity, I have a serious question that I’m hoping someone could answer.
Why just eight events? I counted sixteen men’s swimming events. With such talent, I would think Michael could have won more medals. I’m just saying’.
